Born. 96' in East Harlem, NYC aka 'El Barrio'. Surrounded by a predominantly Hispanic, African descendent and other Caribbean culture. In a major city like New York. Kyle Allwood has been heavily impacted and influenced by the art, languages, history, culture, etc. while engulfed in the brutal hardships of the public housing system in what some might call the "rotten" side of the Big Apple.
About the mission
Our goal at Aphroglyphic Arts is to broaden the voices of the "voiceless", the "silenced", the "misrepresented", "shunned" , etc. through expressive artistic means. As we grow as a brand, so will our voices and ultimately. Our community! WE WILL BE HEARD!
